Summary (brief)
Adaptation of Fingersmith ; resets the original Victorian setting to 1930s Korea during the Japanese colonial occupation and is divided into three distinct, perspective shifting parts; Count Fujiwara seduces lady Hideko wanting to institutionalize her and take her monies; Sook-hee is the Sue and she's on the inside to manipulate the Count; her and Hideko are gay for each other; Sook-hee is double-crossed and ends up in the asylum; Eventually Sook-hee and Hideko escape together with all the money and the dirty uncle cuts off the Count's fingers. Lady H reads erotica to dirty old men.
