Summary (brief)
-Maurice Hall comes to terms with his homosexuality in early 20th century England where same-sex relationships are illegal and socially condemned. He goes to Cambridge and falls in love with Clive Durham, who eventually chooses a marriage to a wife; Maurice meets Alec Scudder, a gamekeeper for Clive, and they bang and run away together. Clive is like super outraged Maurice was banging one of his servants in the house, as Clive thought Maurice had a woman.
